Green Power GN5250DW 5250watt Dual Fuel Generator

I purchased this generator, but it arrived damaged. I reported it via the process that Woot provides. I received an email saying to send pictures of the damage to them, as a reply to their email. I have tried 3 times but always get a message saying the email was undeliverable. I know this isn’t the correct place to report damaged items, but I am hoping someone can help me on this issue.

Perhaps you can post the pictures in this thread and send them the link. Ive done that before.

Thanks. I sent them another message about this. If I don’t get a satisfactory solution to this I will try that. I suspect this may be the type of email account that doesn’t accept incoming mail.

Or at least incoming emails with attachments. Good luck with it. :crossed_fingers::+1:

The forums aren’t staffed on the weekends.

Are you replying to the email CS sent to you? It should be able to accept attachments. You could try to reduce the image size and see if that works.

I’ll leave a note for staff, but they may not see it until Monday.

I am aware of that. But a reply from them through official channels seems to take several days anyway.

There are 5 photos, about 200KB each, for a total of about 1MB. I have already reduced them from the original size, but maybe they are still too big.

Understood, but personal success rate of someone responding after the weekend is always higher when they’re been @'d. :+1::face_blowing_a_kiss::smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

Looks like I finally got it to go through. I reduced the photo sizes even more, and the number of photos to 2. That at first didn’t work. I have been using the Thunderbird email app on my computer. I decided to try using the gmail app on my tablet. The very same email then went through. Weird.

Sometimes the system is glitchy. I think there’s been some recent updates too. My best guess is you’ll hear back in about 3 days. With the holidays and the backlog it’ll take a bit, but they’re good people.

Not really. Staff go through and check the entire forums. They don’t necessarily check their tags first. Vmods will leave a message if necessary.
