No NY on this???

Speed to first woot: 0m 33.687s

Wow, that was the slowest first-to-woot I’ve seen yet on w.w

Wow this came out of left field. But the Tiger Woods clue makes sense now.
Nice to have you back Corrado.
Mill is in Florida.
No NY?!

Edit: and a woot-off on the main site

Another Aussie. But a pass for me, overloaded with syrah/shiraz.

Finally … a Wine Woot I THINK I can hold out on … don’t put any money on it though …

Greg Norman Shiraz? Hmm, would not have guessed that. Totally unlike Mumm, or Ice Wine, or tappenade! I thought I had a Greg Norman in the cooler – just checked and I have a 2002 Limestone Coast Shiraz-Cabernet. Not the Reserve. It’s a more general-purpose one. But I might open it this week and report my tasting results (since, after all, I can still consider myself in LabRat mode from the first part of thise week, gotta continue to serve the community!)

Wootoff going on over on tacky.woot, any chance there’s something in there for us?

Maybe the Aussie wines are all off limits in NY. The Penfold’s was also.

…and we know that mill bought one and ships to FL.

Mill in FL, interesting … at 5 after the switch, still the only buyer …

Can we hope, pray, and sacrifice so the answer is a yes?

An easy holdout for me: no NY.
For those wondering why, you could check back through the blog on the Penfold’s for the details.

Woot-Off on main Woot!

blame the woot off for server lag i guess

It helps my wallet a bit.

I knew it! Of course, since this is ten minutes later, it isn’t boding well for the success of this offer…

2002 Limestone Coast Reserve Shiraz: $45
(Interesting, the non-reserve made #58 on the top 100 wines for Wine Spectator’s list for 2005)

2001 Padthaway Preserve Shiraz: $45
Accolades for Padthaway:

91 POINTS Wine Spectator | Harvey Steiman | April 18, 2007
Supple, generous and open-textured, offering a nice range of dark berry and cherry flavors shaded with mineral, tar and licorice notes that sing harmoniously against lacy acidity on the finish. Drink now through 2016.
