I have 4 of these (wide style instead of long style), bought from the manufacturer website so I have them all keyed the same, I have one in each of my vehicles. I am satisfied with them. Like others have said, these are certainly better than “things” laying loose or in the glove box. As most car break-ins are smash-and-grab, these can be put out of sight and probably most thieves will not take the time if they don’t know they are there prior to break-in. Like someone above said, they are for places where you can’t bring your “stuff” in with you, but you want to be a bit more responsible with your “stuff” than folks who don’t take at least some steps to secure it. But note for the folks with the combo locks… what if you need to get into them in the dark? I have a key on each of my car key rings, so I should never be without a key. (Not at all putting down anyone who chose the combo lock, just providing an alternate viewpoint for some who are trying to decide.)
