Too big for the cup holders in my 2001 Forester. I measured the cup that fits to be 8.25 inches in circumference, which is 2.62 inches diameter, according to Online Conversion - Circle Solver Calculator
… Oh no, Oh no, OH NO!
OH NO YOU DIDN’T.
Why Aluminum?
- 86% of plastic water bottles used in the United States end up in landfills, taking up 1,000 years to biodegrade
- Transporting bottles water consumes approximately 1.5 million barrels of fossil fuels per year
- Americans are currently adding 30 million PET water bottles to our landfills every day
- When you use a stainless steel bottle, your water remains free of unhealthy plastic residues
IMHO none of the above really answers the question. They do answer the question, “Why shouldn’t we use plastic bottles?”

Must be a cut-and-paste from the copy for the stainless steel bottles. Someone forgot to change “stainless steel” to “aluminum”
