Bought something similar from a big-box membership-club store a year or two ago and somewhere, someone mentioned this add-on item https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B099SBMBJV/ so I got one and put it on my tire inflator and it has made my life much easier, as I’ve always struggled (grip-strength?) with getting the standard valve chuck seated and flipping down the lever. This makes that operation easy-peasy for me.
I have something similar in each car, along with a plug kit. More often than not if you have a flat you can fill it one of these then bring it to a tire place to be patched rather than wait forever for AAA or change the tire with your spare if you car even has one. They work well but you do have to make sure they are charged every 3-4 months just in case.
i had a flat in my driveway recently, called the AAA guys and he showed up , fixed the flat right then and there on the spot, inflated the tire and i was ready to go
I and an issue and it took 4 hours for them to show up. I was in rush hour traffic, not fun. A friend had a blowout called me and after waiting for AAA for 2 hrs. I was able to load my jack, impact tool etc. in my car get to her fill the flat spare with air, change the tire and get her on the road before they showed up. On the side of the road during rush hour. That was about 4 hrs. Canceled the AAA once I got there. It really depends on who and where the AAA is. I’ve used it about a half dozen times over the years. Maybe once they came within the hour.
