These keep coming back - so I think that’s a sign I am meant to buy one!

The majority of bad reviews on this item are fairly similar word for word. The 1 review that caught my eye which probably said it best -

“Your comments and this review miss the point of this product. It’s for speakerphone use on the go. The mic and speaker are tuned for voice. The fact that it also can play music and charge your phone are totally secondary features to the speakerphone capabilities.”

I use mine as an auxiliary speaker for my iPad. I often use the iPad as a portable TV and the built-in speakers aren’t adequate. The Harmon Kardon is so well made and solidly built in addition to sounding great.

Bought this speaker almost a year ago off of Woot and do not regret the purchase. It’s compact and produces good sound for it’s size. The battery also lasts a long time and you can use it to charge your phone. It is a great travel companion but don’t expect the high-fidelity sound produced by larger more powerful speakers. At the current price it is a good bargain.

Is the guy in the first photo using that speaker on an airplane? Ugh…THAT guy.

Is this loud enough to listen to a “talking book” in a moving older vehicle? My phone speaker isn’t quite loud enough and I hate using earphones in a vehicle.

That guy in the pic is on a private jet so I don’t think he will bother most of us.

Should have more than enough volume unless you are driving in a convertible.
