Thanks @therealjrn! I would’ve liked to get the ghosts all moving before Halloween, but I’ve only been using the app for a couple of weeks and I’m still learning how it works. : )
You can draw solid blobby shapes like the bushes with a fat round brush (the controller has a pressure sensitive trigger)
You can draw multiple strokes with say a flat square brush to build up the 3D surface of a shape.
Or if you want something precise and symmetrical you can draw a thick line in space and then duplicate copies of it around an axis so you kinda… lathe out a shape. That’s how I made things like the ghost bodies, parts of the watering can and chandelier.
It’s not as complicated as it sounds when you’re working in a 3D space. This is the first thing I’ve made, I’ve only been using Quill for a couple of weeks.
