They are slightly possessed. I’ve seen them in others pools. They try to escape. I’ve got one that connects to the filter but I need an adapter that is marked up 1000% because pools are in such high demand. The pool is up to 84!!! I’ve been floating in it for 4 hours.

I see fiberglass pools mentioned twice in the linked manual so I guess so? You might check with Hayward directly to be sure.
