Based on the sizing chart, these run a bit large. I have a 32" waist so bought the large during the last sale and they are very loose. Go down a size if you’re looking to wear these as actual compression shorts.
These run a size larger compared to the chart. I have a 34 in waist and found the large to be loose or not providing compression.
