Not sure what you two mean. Yes, the description says “right side” when it is clearly on the wearer’s left, but that really doesn’t change the design at all.
Design not in center of shirt.
Every time I see someone with something printed on his stomach or away from the center of the shirt, I think to myself “Jeez, how much of a d-bag do you have to be to wear that?”
Though I made an exception for Nanonauts. Hypocrite much.
Ahh, that’s fair. I’m not fond of low stomach placements either, though I actually like side placements for vertical designs.
In for one in K4!
PS, this will get here in time for xmas even though I choose snailpost, right?
PPS, weird map – nobody east of the Mississippi stayed up for it I guess!
This is the one that I desperately wanted to win. My son has a thing for giraffes.
Thumbs up on the creativity and design :c)
Love it!! I just ordered 3. Congratulations MamaGiraffe! Thanks and I hope you are as amused as I have been by some of the weird comments.
JUST AN FYI, THEY RUN AT LEAST 1 SIZE SMALL, I WEAR XL AND IT FITS LIKE A DARN UNDERSHIRT…
It takes a little less than 2 wks in most cases to get it via snailpost. NextDay will ship Monday for sure and you’d have it Tuesday (if you don’t get it by Tuesday, you can email customer service then and have them resolve the issue. They’re pretty good about that and they try to honor the overnight shipping as much as possible.) I actually suggest overnight around the Christmas season. You have FedEx delivering it, you are sent the tracking number and it’s guaranteed to be there the following day (unless it’s the weekend).
Snailpost can get lost far more easily. The tracking number refers more to the pallet of shirts being shipped out, not the individual. It DOES refer to your package, but the tracking information is basic and not specific to just your bag of shirts until your local post office receives it and delivers it. The other large negative to this is, if the shirt is reckoned right away, and it sits in limbo for more than a week or two (or worse, backtracks to a prior city while in transit) and for some reason you don’t receive it, you are more likely to just get a chargeback to your credit card/debit card/paypal for the purchase instead of the shirt you ordered.
Any other time of the year, I’d say go Snailpost… But not during the largest shipping time of the year.
As for people east of the Mississippi, I don’t think we’ll have a problem with East Coast chaps not getting their shirts. They’ll be up in a few hours to get them.
Yay!!! I’m so excited!!! Thanks so much for all your votes!! I fully expected to see “roid rage” show up in 2nd place…so it was crazy to see my design tonight!
About the placement issue several people have commented on…looks fine to me…it is on the side when you look at the shirt layout… it’s just centered on the thumbnail. I wouldn’t want it if they printed it right down the center either. Gotta be on the side.
Anyway, thanks again, this is so fun!
I love it… but not sure if I would get it…
Excellent design, but I never look good in doody so i’m gonna have to pass. Congrats though!
This shirt really makes me miss my pet giraffe.
He was taken from me by the city.
You got screwed by the long neck of the law, did you?
great design I bet adder had something to do with this getting printed. he’s good at convincing the woot staff to print art. they get all guity and stuff.
Whaaaaa…?
ah, i love this, and i am a huge fan of giraffes…but something just isn’t right, maybe the elephant is taking too much focus for me?
i’ll have to sleep on this one…
joke. get it? yeah, niether did I.
wait…
shouldnt the elephant be on the RIGHT side of a shirt?
[/quote]
it is to the person wearing it!
Congratulations mama! I didn’t think the giraffe would be up there today. Nice surprise, huh.
