I want to make sure I’m understanding the sizing chart correctly. I mean yes I know they are listing the sizes in inches but even the 3XL seems like a fairly small size for women. Would like to buy this, but it seems like even the 3XL wouldn’t be a regular large.
All of the dimensions listed on the attached size chart are ridiculously small for adult women in standard size charts.
A woman’s coat with a 26-inch waist is most commonly a size 0 or XXS. However, sizes can vary between brands, so a size 2 or XS may also be a good fit depending on the specific brand’s size chart. (Per Google AI)
What about lay-flat measurements?
It would make more sense, but this really should be noted on the size chart and within the listing as consumer familiarity with “lay flat measurements” is generally low. The concept is not standard consumer knowledge.

Looking back at previous listings of Helios garments, it appears that the confusion concerning Helios’ use of lay flat measurements in its size charts is a requiring theme.
Also, their use of the left-side zippers.
