Interesting concept…The features/marketing copy looks like it was translated because it sort of makes sense and sort of doesn’t make sense.
OK, I had to go watch the video.
At first, I thought maybe the lower ball was always in a suspended state, on or off. And you just had to get them to touch to turn it on. But that would require different levels of tension on the string for each state. Maybe some intricate pulley system is hidden in the base? Maybe witchcraft?
I was over complicating it.
When it’s off, the lower ball just sits on the base.
Mystery solved. Wonder diminished…
