Looks like a touch of sweet in this one
Soil type (terrior): Peat Moss???
Seems this almost could be a red dessert wine, excepting the lower AbV.
Yup…out in the delta we have loam and peat moss which helps with drainage…the vines do great 
not that sweet!!! this is well balanced …try it you will like it

Is 8.8 g/l RS the equivalent of 8.8% or 0.88%?

My brain was off by a factor of 10 this morning too; it’s 0.88%.
Given the threshold of perception being closer to 2%, even tho there is only a 3 g/L spread between TA and RS, would suggest closer to off-dry.

I believe Scott Harvey, Peter, and others have claimed the threshold to be more like 0.3-0.6% depending on the taster and the specific sugars.
