Hmm, I’m looking at that page, and it doesn’t have a “change username” link. I don’t recall changing it, but maybe I did years ago? Is there any way to check this?

I was able to change my account name, but my forum name is still WooterXXXXX! is there no way to fix this?

How long ago? It took mine a little while to update across the forums. Also, I logged out and back in.

I’ve been on Woot! forever. How do I associate my old Woot! name with my Amazon account? Obvs, the change name page tells me my old name is taken.

Aaahhh… I have a different twist for a “need”
Ok “need” is a strong word…
Here is my dilemma:
well when I first signed in for my account,somehow I either had a “fit of stupidity” or something and didn’t keep my woot avatar so I had to get another pic to use…I really want a woot avatar…
Any way for me to get a cool woot avatar for my account again?

(Please note: these instructions only work on a computer or phone using the web version of Woot. They won’t work if you’re using the Woot app.)
If your old avatar still shows on your account page, you can either right-click on the image (using a computer) or long-press (phone) on the avatar and choose to save the image.
Then go to your forum preferences, hit the pencil icon next to your current profile picture, and then upload the one you saved.
I hope that helps. If your old avatar isn’t still there then I doubt it’s possible to get back.

I’m not sure what I’m missing but I can’t seem to figure out where to change my name as my woot home page looks NOTHING like what is shown in your example

You’ll need to do this from a desktop (not the app) or in a browser by requesting the desktop page.
Otherwise, the only difference is that our page is all white at the top.
I’ll look into updating the screenshots.

Try logging out of the forums. It’s probably still using your old login.

I don’t have the “change username” underneath mine. Only thing it lists is woots:×× and join date:×××××. What am I doing wrong?

The change username only applies to folks with the default Wooter######### username on the forums. Once changed, the option is no longer available.
The option is also not available for folks who signed up with a username from the very onset.
