Hi. I was under the impression there was a new customer discount for Woot? Is there a special promo code maybe? Thanks ~

Hello there! There’s no default/automatic promo code for new customers. We do sometimes send out something via email to new customers. I don’t know much about that program though.

Thanks so much! I belong to a great group on Facebook and they mentioned if I purchased a particular product, that an additional discount would be available to new Woot members. It could have been a misunderstanding. Thanks again! Laura

Oooooooooh, we do have some promotions where it’s xx% for customers and yy% for new customers. It’ll be noted on the sale or event page. For example, here’s a promotion on today’s computer daily. It doesn’t have anything different for new customers but that’s where you’ll want to look. Also check our our daily digest for more information. You can subscribe in your account preferences.

Thanks Jim. I belong to a group on FB called Red Tag Ricky. They advertise Woot deals (and other companies such as Amazon, Walmart, Target, etc. ) that is how I came to join Woot. It’s an excellent group for discounts. I belong to another FB group that is similar…But RTR is very good at describing exactly what the product is and any extra discounts or promos that may apply. They do a superb job with pictures and any information relevant to each item. Woot members may want to join!!
