If you’re looking for a funky, unique pack, or are needing something that is specifically designed to carry a bear canister, then the GG Nimbus Core is an option.
Note, though, that the center of the bag isn’t like a normal backpack as it’s not weatherproof in any way. It carries a bear canister like a dream, but not without sacrifice. For one, this pack has a very small carrying capacity. You’re not going to fit a tent, pad, and sleeping bag in here along with a bear canister. The side packing areas are rather odd, and not like any other backpacks.

So, if this is what you need then go for it! Otherwise, take heed and look at other packs first.
Also, be sure to know your torso size, not a lot of people will comfortably fit in the short model.
