This is a nice duffel. Bought it from Amazon back in 2013 for $39.99, and it’s going for $87.95 over there now.
The bag is good quality, well-made. The bottom section is great for stashing dirty clothes. The only thing negative I can say is the zipper tags or whatever you call them (the cloth attached to the end of the zippers) have frayed a bit. They aren’t really necessary so if they eventually fall off, no big deal.
But High Sierra makes some of the best quality backpacks and duffels on the market. They are smartly designed, too.
If you want something just to toss in a change of clothes and a few toiletries for the occasional trip to the gym, a souvenir drawstring bag you got for free somewhere is fine for that. If you need something more for that or for an overnight trip that will last for years, this bag is a good investment.
A few years ago, I switched our family to almost exclusively High Sierra for our backpacks and other bags. They meet our needs best and last far longer than any others we’ve bought, including some big names.
They are owned by Samsonite. I can attest to the quality of a backpack I bought from Costco. Very well made and thoughtfully designed. No idea about this bag. It would be nice to see some more pictures, especially with that bottom zipper opened. Not that I need it, as I’m knee deep in Yukon bags off of woot!
