How would the 32in be for backpacking (EURail) in Europe? Any thoughts?
Just checked, seemingly not carry-on-able. It’s at least a couple inches too large in all directions.
EDIT: That’s what she said.
quality
IMO, it’s huge. I travel with all carry-on bags. I use the Kelty Redwing 50… It fits in the RyanAir carry-on sizer (so you don’t have to pay 25 euro extra for checked bag). (Just barely fits height-wise, but their tightest restriction is on the depth of the bag so you can’t stuff it full).
This bag won’t even work as a domestic carry on.
Well, yeah.
Carry-on size limit: 22"x14"x9".
Smaller of these bags: 26"x15"x14.5".
What is the weight and do they collapse flat? I’m thinking these might be good for my kids to take to summer camp, since they are supposed to take just one duffel in addition to a trunk.
They do not collapse flat.
Weight as weighed by the buyer:
26” 9.4lbs
32” 9.8lbs
I have an older version of the 32" item and it’s been great. Standing up well to lots of travelling. Flexibility to divide the bag into smaller sections or one big duffel is cool. Straps on the side actually are functional and allow cinching the bag down if not fully loaded
