$260 - $280 for furniture that contains “engineered” (particle or chipboard) wood doesn’t seem like a deal, no?
Not a good start: “Do not use power tools above 8 volts to assemble.” And they felt the need to say it twice in the description.

Agree 100. I’d rather put a cabinet on wheels. Maybe drill a 4"hole in the left front corner, some slide brackets underneath, add a rubber lip or something to the top, then slide some sort of tupperware or plastic receptacle on the brackets so I have a waste bin I can slide stuff into when I’m slicing/chopping. Similar to a pull out cutting board w/ a hole in it situated over the pullout trash.
Exactly! Man made panels strip out easily. Edit: Probably the number one reason IKEA furniture sits at the curb.
