YAY!!!

Me too! YAY!

I too am enthusiastic about HVAC!! Wink wink…

I wonder if this will work with Amazon’s Alexa thingy

Oh, how I luv them Thermostats.

Thermostats are AWESOME! Woohoo!

Lovin me some HCRAP

My second one ever. I’m so pumped for Boodles of Carpaccio!!!

My AC used to run all day in the summer, these actually saved me up to $350 a month on my energy bill ~_~;

Very clever.

I am hearing these things are pain in body part to install and set up.
Any input?

I had no trouble installing a very similar honeywell model.

I’m just not sure if the monkey comes with the thermostat?

A little pissed that I just went to Home Depot and bought 2 of these 2 weeks ago @ $99 each

It is a great thermostat, but does NOT work with Alexa or Homelink or anything else. It has its own application. I still recommend it.

No truth to that at all, I just did 2 of them and they took less that 15 min. each

False, It does work on voice command thru Echo according to directions

The one real pain is making sure you have a thermostat compatible with your HVAC system’s controls. (This one says, virtually any system, C-wire required.) I got the wrong kind of thermostat once, and my only option was to take it back to the store for an exchange. Beyond that one caveat, it’s really just being careful to keep track of which wires you’re unhooking from which leads on your old thermostat, so you can hook them to the proper leads on the new one.

On another note, I just did a thing that made me feel clever and observant.

Looks like there are dozens of reviews and questions answered at the mother ship (Amazon) which wants a lot more for it.
