Very good Reviews over at QVC with a video

[MOD EDIT] Slightly different model.

I’m saddened that many of your items never ship to APO, I need a vacuum!

I have the original Hoover Wind Tunnel Bagless. I love it! It totally sucks! Best of all it is the lightest vac I’ve ever owned. My 84 yr old father bought one and even carries it up and down the stairs. I’m seriously contemplating this deal since my dog chewed the attachments on the other. Foreshadow?

I did some research to see if this thing really sucks or not. (Get it?)

I found that the 72400 model has identical specs and tons of reviews (see Amazon, or use the article below).

The 72405 simply has a couple of additional attachments. Same 11 amp, 1300 watt motor, same filter…they just added the “pet” attachment(s). As a BONUS, the Woot offer includes a Blind Brush Attachment, which is not even listed on the Hoover website for this model.

So I would read pros/cons for the 72400 (which actually goes for $3 more at ‘The Mothership’ - I assume because it has way more positive reviews than the 72405 - but it is the same @$%& machine!!!) to make a decision for this one.

$95 + Tax shipped here Vs $140 + Tax shipped there.

This is about 32%, which is my personal requirement on a purchase over $75. (Reason: Sometimes I will pay a little more on something if it has a better return policy, ie. Woot v Amazon).

I still have not decided, but thought I would share the legwork.

A vacuum cleaner store person told me never to spend more than $100. bucks on a vac and just replace more often. I have one purchased almost 4 years ago, that is a real workout just to shove around. Guess I’ll try this and see… at least no bags to buy. BTW!!! I LOVE WOOT!!!
