Or, perverted minds.
OK, I realize this may not be the most popular suggestion, but I live on the east coast (as do millions and millions of others), and the 1:00am local start time kills me. My productivity at work has been dropping, I don’t sleep as much as I should, and my sexlife has diminished. All because of Woot!'s too late start time!
I can’t imagine sales getting hurt at all with a 1-hour earlier start time for new Woots! Please, Woot, please, help me get back my sexlife!!!
Set your alarm for 12:58 a.m. If you buy the woot, you lose about 10 minutes sleep. If you don’t, about 5 minutes.

I’m borderline insomniac. If and when I get to sleep, I have to hope it’s until morning. If I get up at 12:58am, well, I’d probably be up all night. I need to go to sleep around 11:30pm in order to function properly the next day. I can push that to midnight without too much damage. But these 1:00am Woots! are killing me. I kind of get tired ‘beyond the point of no return’, and can’t sleep very well then.
Help me O-B-One-Woot-Oney, you’re my only hope.

Not me. On days when I use the alarm clock, for about the next half hour, getting back to sleep would be far easier than staying awake.
As for Woot start times, I suppose they ought to consider playing arround with it some. Experiment with other start times, see if any differences can be measured.
But as a west-coaster, I’m actually pretty happy with 10pm. Personally, I’d probably like it slightly better one hour later
