$9.99 = a bag, 3 items, and disappointment

More than 50% starts making me suspicious

I can spot Clearance aisles from a mile away while blind folded.

Depends on the product. You get what you pay for, and stores know what they have.

Best sales are haggling for display. Yeah they can be abused by kids jumping on furniture or pushing buttons. Inspect it, get a manager, and get the deal. Then, you don’t feel bad when you spill or drop it.

25% is decent but 50 % off is great! 75% off is a bargain

Oh Woot!
Why do you ask such loaded questions?
Too cheap = suspect low quality and probably defective.
Plus, it’s nice to see what common users rate the items.
To me, if the one star rating is more than 10% of
the 5 star rating, I walk away.
Example:
5 star rating of 60%
1 star rating of 6%
Maybe ok…
However:
5 star rating of 60%
1star rating of 12%
Walk away!!! Run even!

After watching Shark Tank, everything is marked up way too much.

The grocery store tells me how much I saved because it was on sale. But I would not have bought it if it wasn’t.

I think MSRP should be $1,000,000 so I can save more money.

15 to 20% if I have it on a wish list.
40% if no prior interest and an impulse buy
BOC - dollar store junk I did not want. Never again. :rage:

If you knock it down 25% you are closer to what it is worth. If you mark it down 50% you are even closer. But 75% is the magic number where we know you are actually losing a little bit of money, compared to all the profit you actually wanted but dropped out of Wharton before you got to “Demand”.

Or to put it another way, you won’t get many people to feel any affection towards the mothership, or that HGH fueled bald idiot that used to run the show. Or sympathy. Take your lumps for the gouging and shut up.

Pointless price? 75% because they’re so often inflated by 2x the normal selling price

Usually it starts around 50%

If it is something I want and need, 25% will get me buying. If it is a high quality nice to have, 50% will pique. (Some after season or military discounts will be here) More than that is questionable about the original price.

142% OFF Discount would pique my interest.

142% off would pique my suspicion, also curiosity as to whose truck it fell off of.
