Yet, there are epicureans who claim aged, enzymatically degraded meat is a delicacy. Some do trim off the gray, hardened bark like “pellicle” surface. But should meat taste “nutty?” Or is that just nuts?

as long as it’s good, and I’m not tired of it.

Pro hack: freeze food before it gets old, and then suddenly you have “new” food a few weeks later!

Uhh Servsafe certified, food is good for up to 7 days. I’ll dump it out after 5 but it’s good for a week.
