yyyyyup!
On the third day (sometimes second day) if it’s not eaten then I throw it in the woods for the critters.
No old is to old for leftovers if you’re creative. I actually love Spaghetti sandwiches in the morning for breakfast, or a wonderful year old Meatloaf sandwich which crawled to the front and begged me to eat it because it I must have thought I needed a doses of Penicillin so it makes for the breakfast of champions
I’m in the camp of about three days is as long as something should sit around in the fridge as a leftover. We typically cook 4-5 times per week and use any leftovers for lunches when possible.
What does a “fresh” one taste like?
Literally ate chicken legs that I cooked last week for lunch today.
If it starts growing fur or gets slimy, or smells too sour, it is too old. Everything else is fair game.
I find frozen ones > fresh ones.
They steam in the wrapper and the bun comes out softer.
I cannot speak as to 3mo old ones, lol
