I had one of these and promptly returned it. It runs WAY slower than the specs should thanks to the slow hard drive.

Here is the response from HP on this issue:

We use current HP release image to re-image the units we process. However for this issue, HP has a patch available from the MS Update servers. It is part of Windows updates and it automatically applies the patch on affected units for the customers. The only condition is the customer needs to be connected to the internet. By default Windows update is always turned ON.
