I haven’t bought a laptop since the most recent round of evolution where they all seem to have touchscreens. Does anybody with a touchscreen laptop actually use that functionality? I don’t feel like I ever would; in fact, I feel like the touchscreen would be kind of annoying, though I’m not sure because I’ve never used one. Can anybody share an opinion/experience?

what’s the max amount of RAM supported for laptop ?

I bought the 17" HP on here a couple months ago. I actually like using the touchscreen for several things. Selecting an object on screen can be very fast. Scrolling is often faster using the screen. My touch screen usage is probably 25% for everyday use. And playing Wordament…touchscreen can’t be beat. This is a pretty good price as the 17" was around $650.

Thanks for the input!

When win 8 came out it was considered necessary since win 8 was optimized for touch. I think it’s a nice to have. I have it on the laptop but didn’t want to spend big $ for a touch screen monitor for the desktop.
