CPU Benchmarks

I bought this laptop a year ago for my wife to use for her masters degree online. It has worked wonderfully. I loaded Office 2013 and a few other programs without issues. Worth the money.

Can you upgrade the memory on this unit?

Should be identical to my F-100DX. There is only one slot. Remove 4GB, insert 8GB, life is better.

I will add, those CPU benchmarks linked above, most unimpressive on “paper”. Seat-of-the-pants feel is not so bad. This laptop is identical to my F, except the aforementioned 8GB RAM upgrade, and it has been an excellent performer. No gaming, not my thing, but no difficulty at all handling the totally average guy life I task it with every day.

My Google-fu says most likely.

Specs page

says there are 2 memory slots and only one 4gig memory module installed so should be easy to upgrade.

Does the keyboard have back lighting? The picture of the F5 key makes it appear to have, but I want to be sure.

We don’t note it in the specs and we would if it’s for sure. The image is vendor art and may not represent the actual laptop. Make sure you go by our specs.

Thanks, that is what I thought but wanted to double check.
