super low resolution screen. otherwise, doesn’t look too bad
Agreed. If this had higher resolution it would be an easy buy.
for $515- whole lot better computer
1 year warranty
It’s not really ‘super low resolution’ unless you’ve fully immersed yourself in 1440p and 2k devices and can’t bring yourself to go back. This is arguably the most common laptop resolution, at least in the sub-$500 market. It’s not luxurious, but it’s adequate.
But I do still agree to some extent. If it were 1080p IPS, this would be a good deal. If I can buy a budget phone with a 1080p IPS screen for less than $200, I don’t see why the laptop industry keeps building devices with 768p TN panels even $100 above the especially budget-oriented devices.
Buyer is set to enjoy his Saturday and wants you to as well. That’s why he’s lowered the price. Buy ALL the computers!
If you already purchased, that money will hop back into your pockets soonish!
Ah yes - that one is actually a pretty good deal. One key difference that might matter to some folks is, this HP has a keypad on it while the Asus does not.
For me, the screen is still a dealbreaker…
