What is the warranty on this?

Features Tab says 90day HP Warranty

Welcome. We always list the warrant at the bottom of the features tab. These have a 90-day HP warranty.

You can purchase another year of protection through SquareTrade. There’s a link on the Features tab as well. It may not be visible on some mobile devices.

Thanks guys!

I’d take this if there was a backlit keyboard…bummer

I’m guessing from the “up to” in the graphics memory description that this is shared memory…

Only real question is can you easily put windows 7 on this or are you stuck with windows 8? It is tempting if I can easily jam 7 on it but if there are no drivers and your stuck with 8 its a big pass.

It’s pretty rare that drivers are available to 8 but won’t work on 7 and vice versa. Windows 8 was not a complete rewrite of the OS or anything like that. Despite its name, it shares the same major version (6.x) as Windows Vista and Windows 7 (6.0 and 6.1, respectively; Windows 8 is 6.2).

What’s the model number of this laptop?

With Factory Reconditioned laptops, the lot that we get may be a mix of model numbers. All of them are brought to the specs noted in the sale.

I’ll snag one of these next time you offer them. Just bought a Chromebook from you, which should arrive in the next couple of days. Can’t afford both right now!!

It seems there’s always someone making this comment. When is the last time you saw a laptop <$500 with a back-lit keyboard?
