BUYING GUIDE

Check out the Woot Buying Guide for Laptops and tell us what you think!

No Bluetooth? I do not see it mentioned in the specs. What’s up with that?

This would be perfect for my college aged son to replace his old Toshiba, but without Bluetooth, it’s not for us.

No Bluetooth. BT dongles are available on the cheap though.

I had one of these laptops for a few months for school/ light gaming and found it to be more than adequate. The problem is the hinges. They are very weak and can, and WILL, easily break. YOUUU HAVE BEEN WARNED!

So I wanted to wait until I had actually used this laptop before I opined on it.

Short answer - worth it.

Overall, it’s a bit heavy but functions exactly as it should. Being refurbished didn’t take anything away from the actual machine. The screen works fine and I have no complaints about the touchscreen.

The processor is notably slower than an i5 though the specs place it in a comparable range. That being said, it functions well for the price. If you need a laptop at home for watching movies (it’s great) and basic internet browsing, you could do a lot worse than this.
