Fry’s/Outpost had a 200 GB for $60 after MIR over the weekend. Tempted me, but just didn’t need it right now.
Close, but not the same. Slower, 1/2 the RAM, 20 GB smaller HD, no DVD burner.

Yup, it’s a shame with so much screen realestate that it isn’t WSXGA or WUXGA. The pixels must be huge at WXGA! And $1505 should be able to buy more than 90 worry free days.

Nine-plus pounds and around two hours, in case you don’t feel like clicking. Not terribly “portable” (more of a desktop replacement solution) and battery life is blech.

awesome woot. if i hadnt just built a new computer (finished off with a 300$ crt just 2 days ago) i might have the money for this. but, alas, i do not. woot,put this back up in a year so i can convince my parents i need it for college
