Got a brand new one of these for the same price during a black friday deal and have been super happy with it. It uses freesync which is great for gaming and the QHD resolution is great for productivity. Considering the normal price is $150 higher, if you don’t want to wait around for the New-in-Box version to maybe come down in price again, this is a great deal you can get today. If I had any room on my desk for a 3rd 32" monitor, I’d seriously consider getting another.
When I Google the model number, every single result has a different stand than this one, and the others also have a VESA mount, whereas Woot’s 32Q has no vesa mount and a different stand. Are we sure this is the HP 32Q, and not some other monitor?
Hi there. You’re getting the one in our photos. Maybe the one you’re seeing is an older model?
We’re selling this one:
Is this monitor 4k / QHD with a resolution of 3840x2160? OR is it 2560 x 1440 like it says in the description? Product titles says Quad HD which is 4k, but description says something different.
Hi there. QHD is 2560 x 1440 and UHD is 3840 x 2160. The listing is correct.
Best new price I could find is $310 at Walmart.
If you are good with a refurb save $90 here!
The 4K vs Quad distinction is a bit confusing. In terms of TV and monitor resolutions,
- HD is 1280 x 720 = 921,600 pixels
- FHD is 1920 x 1080 = 2,073,600 pixels
- QHD (also called WQHD) is 2560 x 1440 = 3,686,400 pixels (4 times as many as HD, hence the “Quad”
- UHD/4K is 3840 x 2160. The 4K refers to the horizontal resolution, which is almost 4,000.
- I’m not even thinking about 8K yet. That’s nutty. It exists, though.
Reading the customer reviews on the Amazon link, seems like the monitor does not work well with Macs. Worth trying? Any suggestions? (Hoping to purchase two to use with MBP 16’)
So does that mean this one is not able to be mounted to a monitor arm?
