HP 32s IPS Display

ABSOLUTE HORSESHIT! This monitor only has two holes for VESA mounting and came with NO adapters or manual. I bought two of these specifically because they were listed as VESA compatible. Thanks for screwing me over AGAIN Woot.

The VESA bracket must be purchased separately, and probably does not install where you think it does.

It’s all in the manual, which is online. Always a good read before you order stuff.

Is Woot not accepting a return, or does this just feel good?

I’m kinda with Al. You managed to find the full product guide which is darned near impossible if you search on HP’s site. But it provides no useful information other than you have to get an adapter. Would you know specifically what mounting adapter works with this monitor?

I found this on Amazon but it doesn’t specifically say it’s for this monitor:
https://www.amazon.com/VESA-Mount-Adapter-32-Inch-Displays/dp/B07176TC2V/ref=cm_cr_arp_d_product_sims?ie=UTF8

I’m sorry for the problem. The refurbished units don’t come with the adapter. I’m asking the team to update the specs to show an adapter is required.

If you’d like to return the monitor, reach out to Woot Customer Service. From a browser, use the Woot Customer Service form. In the Woot App, choose Account from the bottom navigation and then Support.

I did my proper homework on this prior to buying. The HP website for this product shows the VESA mount comes with the monitor (check specs out here: https://store.hp.com/us/en/pdp/hp-32s-display ) I did see the manual’s note about the adapter needing to be purchased separately and we all know that sometimes the manual says something different than the product/purchase page. Seeing both HP’s sales page and Woot’s specs should have been enough for me to make a confident purchase.

Woot’s specs (at the time of my research/purchase) had VESA specs listed (now it shows “no”) as 100x100.

When it says VGA and HDMI does it really mean the old ancient VGA connector on the back or does it have the more modern type connection?

Two ways to connect it - VGA (yes the old connector type) or HDMI.

Got mine about a week ago and has worked great. I only ordered it do the the whole work from home thing and I was having issues with my other one. I needed something to extend my laptop screen so I would have more work area. So far so good and I no longer have issues moving apps around and viewing Zoom meetings. As far as the VESA stuff I never had an intention to mount this so for me no big deal, but I could see it being an issue for some folks. Once all this mess is over I’ll probably make this one my main monitor on my home PC.
