CPU Benchmarks

This is NOT the AMD E1 model, but the Intel Atom model. It’s substantially faster than the AMD E1, around double the CPU performance and comparable GPU performance. These sell for $269 new so a fairly steep discount for being refurbished. Which is in itself surprising because these machines haven’t even been on the market a year. I’m surprised to see they have 8GB RAM (the maximum for the CPU) that and the hard drive are nearly $100 alone.

I’d like to use this on my TV with HDMI. Can this be done? What do you recommend?

It’s even better. The J2900 is a Pentium, not an Atom (or even Celeron) processor. This is the same chip that was in the Lenovo Tiny Desktop M53 that Woot featured in recent weeks.

The computer itself does not have an HDMI port, but it does have a DVI-D port. A $15 DVI-to-HDMI adapter would allow you to connect it to your HDMI-capable TV and utilize a digital-quality signal.

Newegg still has them as well.

DOA on arrival, woot wanted me to go through HP, Spent 56:25 minutes had to give my address 5 times to 5 different people. don’t think i will be buying computers from them anymore…maybe anything from them… Sad since amazon took over this site its has turned into a dumping ground for their crap. should just sell the bags of crap… kind of a crap shoot hahaha

I’m sorry for the problems. We do ask that you work with the warranty holder first. If that doesn’t work, get back with our customer service for assistance. Let them know what you tried.
