I can recommend these. Got one from Woot 6 months ago. Lots of room for expansion cards, drives, whatever. Integrated graphics fine for multiple monitors, but maybe not monster gaming. Boosted to 16 GB Ram and it edits videos and stitches panoramas smoothly. Handles multitasking easily.

Definitely not for the leftover dual core model.

For quad core, yes, very good value for money. The dual core, not so much.

I got this in 250gb model a few months ago to use as seed box. I’m very very happy with it.

Is it possible to upgrade this to Windows 10 for free even though it’s past July 29th?

That promotion is no longer available, but you should hunt around on the interwebs to see if any other similar promotions exist.

I was afraid of that. I will do what you suggested, thank you.

I am still a fan of WIN 7. I downloaded 10 on one machine but then reverted to 7.

Nota bene: for those of us relying on the listed Woot specs, the more expensive of the two options is said to have a quad core processor. On cpubenchmark.net this processor is said to be dual core, not quad. This item is already sold out. If this specification is listed in error, perhaps that is why.
