Thanks!

Great gemeral purpose computers. Reasonably quick and built like tanks. I bought several of them for my office.

Do any of these woot refurb packages come with Microsoft Word bundle of is that uncommon? Anyone know how much that would be to buy separate? Also where are the speakers?

It’s been forever since I bought a home computer, thinking I need to update. Sorry for ignorance. Ty

Desktops sometimes come with a trial version of Office, the full version can cost well over $100. Open source software, such as Libre Office, is available free. PC’s generally don’t include speakers, but you can buy some for a few dollars.

These do not come with office suites.

Does it have an oem or is a retail copy of Windows?

Buyer confirms OEM.

How well would it stream Netflix, hobgo, etc?

Can’t burn discs, though; darn it! Would have to buy a separate burner. Otherwise it would be great for a spare “something” at that price.

Just fine. Even thought it’s dual core, it’s a pretty quick dual core.

I have one I use for a media server and it works great. "

Only thing you have to watch in these is when adding cards. The power supply is only 240 watt and there’s no larger ones available. You can get nice sound cards to work and even video cards, just no power-hungry ones.

$20 on Amazon will get you a good burner. All you need is a screwdriver to replace.

Yeah - I can even get a USB external CD/DVD burner for $14 and free shipping … however, too much trouble for a “spare something” (I already have an HP W7 desktop and a Lenovo W10).

Thanks, just bought one

There is an internal speaker you can sort of hear stuff with. I would suggest buying an external speaker to plug in the back or headphones in the front.
