I think something’s wrong here - the 8100 series used the 1st generation Intel Core processors, while this is sporting a 2nd generation “Sandy Bridge” processor. I think this is an 8200 Elite, if the processor model is correct.

HP’s specs confirm that the 8100 series used the old generation of processor, and with them an older chipset that is not compatible with the i5-2400.

I was not happy with this purchase!! I had previously purchased a 550GB SSD and asked my local computer store (“Computer Answers”) to put it into this refurbished computer. They discovered that the 16GB RAM was not the correct RAM for this computer! They showed me the memory error when you boot it up! I am now faced with buying the needed RAM! I also thought that the available bays advertised could support both HD’s. That was NOT true! They could not find the serial number for the computer on the HP website, which was suspicious!
