CPU Benchmarks

Anyone know if you can add at medium classed GeForce card in this?

I would say that you will have to hunt for the right fit, both in size and power consumption. I have a gtx770 that I replaced with a 1060 recently, and that is probably too big and uses 230w and this power supply is 250w. Ultimately, unless you upgraded the power supply too (not sure it is possible), you most likely wouldn’t be able to fit/support a graphics card that would be an improvement over the Intel HD graphics (not that they are particularly good, just they are usually equivalent to your entry level/low midrange aftermarket cards).

But does it hackintosh?

It Does:

Isn’t this a little too expensive for what it is? a first generation core i processor? we are at seventh generation now…

also the first line in the link says you have to buy a graphics card

> Compatible Graphics Card. The HP Elite has Intel GMA 4500 graphics which aren’t supported in OS X. I went with a Sapphire ATI Radeon 5450 1GB. Be sure that the Graphics Card you select supports and comes with a Low Profile Bracket.

Pretty dismal reviews and a proprietary video port. And we wonder why HP is such a train wreck.

[VMod edit: Not proprietary. These have DisplayPort, an industry standard. Also the referenced system is a completely different configuration, refurbished by a completely different company.]
