warranty? By whom?

I love the size of this tower, but be warned. If you’re looking to add a second HDD for storage, there is NOT enough room, unless you’re putting two 2.5in hdds. It does have a second SATA port; just not the space for it.

There’s a space both under the power supply (flip it up) and a carriage under the optical drive. I just rebuilt a system using this model

Read the description, it’s at he bottom.

PassMark CPU Benchmarks:
Intel Core i3-2100: 3641
Intel Core i5-2400: 5841

Both of these CPU’s are from Intel’s 2nd generation Core i-series chips, commonly referred to by their codename, Sandy Bridge. Sandy Bridge CPU’s were originally released in late 2010 and early 2011, so these CPU’s are 5-6 years old. However, Sandy Bridge CPU’s are still very viable for most computing tasks, although they lack some of the newest instruction sets.

In other words, for everyday tasks, these are solid CPU’s, even despite their age. These will handle most media and productivity tasks with aplomb. Light photo/video editing is feasible as well.

In fact, I’ll go out on a limb here and say if this HP Elite 8200 Specifications page is to be believed, these machines have a low-profile PCI-E x16 slot. In theory, you could even fit a low-profile, low power graphics card in here (such as this MSI GTX 750 Ti) and pull off some entry-level gaming. Given the limited 240W PSU on this model though, I wouldn’t recommend it to the average consumer, but if you want to tinker, the option’s available.

How do you know what the shipping charge is?

The standard shipping charge for all Woot items is $5. Expedited shipping is available for some items at an additional cost, but all items have the option for $5 shipping.

Been here much? Flat $5.

Received my computers today ( I bought two of them) each is missing a 2gbDDR3 of off the board. I have not checked to see if I got the processor or the 2Tb HDD that I paid for yet. I will update tomorrow. What a big disappointment, and pain. LET ME KNOW IF YOU GOT WHAT YOU PAID FOR

I’m very sorry for the problem. Have you contacted Advanced Skyline? They should be able to help you with that missing RAM.

If not, always feel free to contact Woot CS. Please use the Customer Service form for assistance.

Bought this a month or so ago. Now it says my trial period of Win7Pro is expired! They want $130 for it. What gives? Is there a registration key I didn’t get?

Hmm. Sorry about that. You can try contacting the warranty carrier here.
