Is the keyboard backlit? And really, no webcam?
I have similar questions about the keyboard being backlit. It says no webcam yet the pictures indicate a webcam at the top of the display. The “lesser” models i5 with 256gb ssd have backlit keyboards and webcams so if this is also true I will be in for 1 but pass if not.
Also inquiring as to keyboard backlight status.
HP makes 1 bezel with a spot for a webcam. Whether the camera module is under there or not is the deciding factor.
We’re checking with our vendor to confirm if all of these have webcams or backlit keyboards. Typically, in cases like these, the inventory is mixed so they say “no webcam” just to have more units available to sell. Whether the do end up having extras like webcam or backlit keyboard may end up being a YMMV scenario.
