I bought a g4 version of this, with an A12 processor, and found it perfectly serviceable for moderately heavy office use. This A8 is fairly lightweight, but for moderate to light office use, presentations, browsing, or home editing, it’s surprisingly nice. The FHD screen is brilliant, the port variety is better than average, and it takes a lot of abuse. A good traveling or knock-around box, and the price is dirt cheap. I see why these get criticized, but if you need a reliable hatchback instead of a jacked pickup truck, this is the one.
