In need of a good laptop for working from home. Would this be a good one?
What are the WiFi specs? Does this have a WiFi 6 or WiFi 5?

It depends on what you need to do. 8th gen processors are a bit on the old side now. They are the minimum required to run Windows 11.
What tasks specifically are you going to be doing?
FWIW, I have an old HP laptop with a much older processor (about 10 years old) and Windows 11 works perfectly (I bypassed the CPU install requirements). I upgraded that laptop to 12 GB RAM and SSD drive.
So this laptop should be just fine for work, productivity, media and web my opinion.

I’d scoop this laptop up, install Linux mint, and then spend a bunch of money on a case of beer … The laptops going to run probably 2-3x better on Linux compared to windows 11 and if you use something like Linux mint you’ll want to slap yourself for never having tried it before … That’s it I’m out good day

Basic stuff, sure. I’m loading 8th gen laptops at work, and once they eventually get logged in, they run ok, but I wouldn’t open a bunch of tabs and have a few programs running and expect it to like it.
But I bought this bad boy (HP ProBook 6470b 14" Laptop, Intel Core i5-3320M 2.6GHz Dual-Core, 4GB DDR3, 128GB Solid State Drive) in 2016, have since upgraded the drive and I’m pretty sure the RAM too and it runs Windows 11 decently for basics.
