I use this exact same model for work. Honestly, spend a little bit more to get something with a 1080p display. The built in LCD is the worst thing about this laptop

I have a similar HP laptop but with i5 CPU. Must admit this has been one of my worst ever laptops and I have gone through a large number of computers so far. Right from beginning the WiFi would not work, later on would not provide right speed and run much slower than expected. Screen would crash every now and then, with numerous error reports, especially when surfing on net (Despite the type of browser in use) till now, after all the time and investment on it. I did all the upgrades and trouble shootings, without a favorable response. The touchpad/ mouse design is a disaster that if HP had a clear conscious, would call it a manufactures defect and would recall it…
Long story short, as said by other OP, spend a little more and avoid the HP junk. To survive HP needs to make an internal revolution. A simple facelifts is only waist of time for this company & HP please wake up!

Newegg has it refurbished for $225. 4 year old model though so i will pass

It’s not the same. newegg has i5 for $225, i7 goes for $397

Does it have a webcam? Woot should always include that in the specs, simple yes or no for folks who Skype. Not all that difficult is it?

Agree with you, on picture it seems like it has it.

But is must be listed in the spec.

Anybody knows?

I’m typing this on the i5 version. I’m happy with it overall.

I’m not saying this is a bad deal overall, I agree that the screen resolution is not great (but good enough for everything I do, but I don’t game) and it looks like this version does not have the SSD, it is a standard hard drive.

Hey guys! No webcam. It should have been in the features but wasn’t. It’s been added now.

Note that we most often use stock photos for our images. And many computer cases will have the spot for the webcam even if it’s not present.
