I own one of these, originally bought new, and I wouldn’t buy another one. Within less than half a year of owning it, I’ve just received my second in-warranty replacement. HP support (once you can navigate the maze of getting to a person) has been very responsive about sending me replacements, but unless you are okay with being without your printer for a week, don’t buy this. I especially wouldn’t get a refurb with the paltry 90-day warranty they’re offering on this.

Agree with the person above me. Not even for 30 bucks. It’s a trick.

Note that it’s not listed as compatible with Windows 10.

This printer has expensive ink. Even the after market and refills are expensive. Replacing the ink would cost you as much or more than the original printer.

Always check the cost of the the replacement ink before buying a printer.

HP’s el-cheapo home printers, in my opinion, suck. They last for a short while then have issues. The ink is also very expensive. I have switched to Brother printers and so far so good. I would purchase a high end HP as they seem to be pretty good but, their el-cheapo home units have not been very durable for me.

First 14 decent laptops, now a cheap (not with it) printer? Come on woot.

yeah! something cool!

Re win 10there are people stating you can run it in compatibility mode for win 7 and it will work.

I’ll tell you from my perspective, I can’t get it to run wireless still either wpi or direct password linked.

Got one of these the last time it came up (refurb). Printer worked fine, but scanner was broken out of the box. Returned under warrenty (barely) and vowed to never buy an HP printer again.
