Bought one of these new from Amazon for around $35 more than this offer. Works great and has been very easy to use. Wish my old printer had broken down now so that I could have purchased this refurbished unit. Have had no problems with refilling cartridges. Very good printer for the price and this deal is even better. I like refurbished!
Looks like it has great reviews on Best Buy with being new over $100, shame I’m waiting for their $19 black friday printer or I’d pick this up.
I have this printer. I use it on eprint for two computers. It was simple to set up and has worked flawlessly for about 6 months. Prints two sides. Have not yet tried photo printing, but it has done everything else without a problem.
Adding on, This printer qualifies for HP Instant Ink, so if you don’t print a lot, or know you’re only printing in their rages, they ship you ink depending on what plan you want! I believe 3.99/month for 50 pages, and if you go over, it bumps it to 4.99 for up to 100 or 300 pages(?)
No contracts, cancel any time! A printed page is either text or images, and when it detects your ink is low or old, they ship ink right away! I’ve loved using it since we print so infrequently, and only renew when I need to print!
I got this printer at Office Depot a few weeks ago for $49.99 new.
I see it at Stalpes and Office Depot for $49.99 at regular intervals.
It does not have a USB cord with it but the one from our, recently dead, 10 year old HP works fine.
We don’t do a lot of printing. Note this comes with some sort of trial cartridge when new and what is a “recertified cartridge”?
We got this printer from Amazon more than a year, and it is great. Can’t believe the price.
Is it actually only supported up to Mountain Lion on OSX? That seems more than a little odd.
If it works (both print and scan) on Yosemite and El Capitan I’m in for one. Anyone?
Will this printer work with a chromebook?
Not a fan. Bought one of these from Woot recently and have yet to get it to work correctly. Printer hangs on setup. Message on screen says, “Now printing alignment page” but never prints that page. Many people on the HP forums have had the same issue, and there is no solution for this. You have to return the printer to HP, but something this big costs just as much to ship as it cost to purchase. So I’m just going to toss it. Beware of this one. As for me, I’ll not buy any more HP products or any heavy items from Woot since any issue would cost too much to send back than would be worthwhile.
Works OK as a printer, BUT if you are using it to copy or scan, it cannot do legal size documents - glass is not big enough and it doesn’t feed. My new job uses legal size docs and it’s been quite the pain. Specs note 11 x 14 but that must only be for printing. Guess they had to save somewhere to make the printer so cheap.
Got mine today and the bag it was in had an area covered in black ink. Like someone left an ink cartridge in it, sent it off to the refurbishment center with the ink still in it. It took a bunch of sanitizing wipes to clean it up.
If it works, I will be happy. If not, seeing the issues I have already had with the ink all over the inside of the printer (right hand side both inner and outer) I will not be a happy camper. Or wooter.
