Anyone have any hands-on experience with how well this box runs modern games?

Windows 10 Home. Yuck. Might have given this a whirl if there was an option to upgrade to 10 Pro, in spite of all the recent bad reviews of refurbs. But I don’t see any mention of that.

A GTX 745… Why even bother with putting a graphics card in the machine if it’s that crappy of a card?

I agree. Otherwise it could be a decent “steam” box. . . with, say a GTX 960 Mini or any AMD R9 380 (~$200)

You could always buy Windows 10 Pro… But sadly, no. This one does not come with the free upgrade. My heart breaks for you. Carry on brave comrade. Never stop believing in your dreams!

Awesome deal. Too bad about the vid-card. A Gtx-960 would have been perfect, but I bet that requires a new PSU… Still not bad over all.

I have this PC, purchased at Costco. It is blazing fast and runs perfectly. While not a gamer I am a photographer and this PC is great. I quickly learned to store nothing extra on the SSD drive, and set it up for as much speed as possible in settings. I have no issues at all, and love the machine.

Since you have this PC, could you do us all a solid and tell us what motherboard it uses? Everything on it besides the Graphics card is great, but it’d be nice to know what I could swap in before I buy.

Found details on the entire system, including the motherboard-

Something cool.

I can put win 7 pro on ssd drive and use it with no problems , can’t I?
tried win 10 home and it stunk and wasn’t for me.
thanks

Whew. Worried it wasn’t going to happen.
