CPU Benchmark

Refurb now means something does not work like it is supposed too; BT works sporadically on mine with BT mouse; finally just switched to a non BT mouse and everything is good.

Every Bluetooth mouse I’ve ever tried (which is admittedly only a couple) has been flaky on each of multiple types of computers I’ve tested on. It’s been a while but I seem to recall that adjusting power management settings might have helped in one case. In the end I just concluded that Bluetooth mice are more trouble than they’re worth and don’t really have any advantage other than possibly freeing up a USB port.

It looks like some of these models can be configured with a backlit keyboard. Any chance these particular ones might have it? I guess it’s not listed in the specs here so probably “don’t count on it” at best. Would be nice though.

I was all set to buy this. But, sadly its ONLY a 90 day warranty which is odd because usually HP gives same as new as does dell on refurbs.

Can an extended warranty be purchased on this?

I want to buy this for a graduation gift, it would suck that the warranty won’t even last till april

Yup, at the top of the Features tab, there’s a widget to purchase an extended Square Trade warranty. You have to purchase through that widget, though.

How much time do I have to buy a Warranty protection from Square Trade after purchasing a LapTop?

What an odd thing to say.

Is this your opinion on this item alone or ALL refurbs? I ask, as I have several refurbs from Woot and all are 100%.

I’m almost sure the widget goes away when the sale expires. At this point, you’ve got about an hour and a half left.
