Shame it doesn’t have a SSD…

Touch screen?

I’ve asked the same question about other laptops on here previously, and they will usually have the symbol and say touch screen if it does. I can also tell you I’ve been looking at laptops a lot lately and generally the laptops that are in the gaming category do not have touch screen. You can find laptops that are 2-in-1 that have dedicated graphics cards (like 940mx), but they are generally not as powerful graphics cards as those in gaming laptops (usually 1040 or higher).

How about the hinge issues?

If you are going to get this, add in the cost of purchasing an SSD and maybe another 8gb of ram. It has two ram slots one of which has an 8gb card.

Once you get those add in costs added, then compare to other sales.

I added a M.2 drive to mine, it’s relatively easy to do if you’ve opened a laptop case before.

Nope. Screen colors are better than average, but brightness will not go up as high as most laptops – not the best for outdoors or bright rooms.

If the product has an issue, how to return or replace? I’m in Portland Oregon.

This has a 90-day HP warranty. Register the product when you get it.

If you want a longer warranty, there’s a SquareTrade warranty linked at the top of the features.
