The HP product design team doing its very best to assure no sane company would attempt to raid their staff.

“OMEN.” Really? Ex-GM employee product-naming by clueless committee methodology?

Omen is the name of a PC gaming company HP acquired - originally named VoodooPC and Omen was their desktop brand.

Omen is HP’s gaming laptop brand. No sane company would be buying it regardless of name. That’s what the enterprise division is for.

This isn’t rocket surgery.

For the price, this is a pretty good laptop. I have a year-old Acer with similar specs (although this has a slightly better processor) and can play pretty much any game that’s at least 3 years old.

Newer games might work on lower settings. I imagine it’s going to run pretty hot - my keyboard starts to get uncomfortable with super high res graphics for long periods of time.
